I Oliver Goodkind am running for social sec and believe I deserve your vote.

I would like to start with my most notable achievements this year. Arguably an 100% social attendance through sickness and health as some of you may recall the white lies social where I was on my deathbed and still was attended shows my commitment to the socials and my 100% dedication to my craft of consuming alcohol.

I have already run 1 social which was a smash hit with all attendees and already have some great themes and ideas for next year I would love to give you all the pleasure of enjoying.

I would also like to note that I was the winner of the 24/25 Hyde park initiation run and will use all of these talents to bring the best socials next year.

While I know this application was late it has been for the honourable reason of a 7 day drinking spree and I promise to not spill as much on my next chop.

I will finish off on a serious note and say, Wednesday nights are easily my favourite of the week as the reason why I have not missed one and want to continue the legacy of incredible nights out with gryphons. I will make sure everyone who comes will have a cracking time and make sure everyone is always in good form.

I am looking to carry on the mantle of Social Sec after a fantastic year with Josh and Cam. As many of you like to point out, I go out an excessive amount. This can be seen as rigorous research into the art of what makes a great night out.

I’ve already got many themes planned for next year and also some great activities to take part in at pres to make sure every week is a different experience, meaning I hope to see you at all of them. Plus, my many connections to other societies would be useful for joint socials as I know they have been some of the most fun nights out for many. I’m also someone who’s not afraid to go all out, as can be seen with my famous alien face paint.

The socials have helped me to meet some great people so it’s important to me that they continue to be as fun as they have been this year – something I will be dedicated to. If you’re after brilliant socials, a friendly, inclusive, and dedicated secretary, and maybe even a free drink or two (not a bribe), waste no time and vote for me as your Social Sec!

I would be a great social sec for several different reasons. For starters, I have attended almost every social and so have an insight into what makes a great social for the Gryphons. I would make sure that every week is enjoyable for all the Gryphons.

Secondly, I have great organisational skills, which are vital for this role. I have had to organise a multitude of things, from events to sports teams at my old school, so I know I have the skills for the role. From organising tours and secret socials to the weekly organisation of pres and planning joint socials, I know I will be suited for the role.

On that note, I will aim to organise more joint socials, through my various contacts, as I know many including myself found them as some of the most entertaining nights of the year.

I will also implement stricter policies to stop excessive fresher hunting which certain Gryphons have been guilty of.

Griffins, this is the one application I know you have been desperately waiting for. I, the great Adam Eskandar, have been to most socials this year, but I no longer wish just to be an attendee at these socials. I plan on escaping the matrix and run these socials.

I am a D lineman, and many returners know D-line are very synonymous with the role of social sec (we are just built for it). Someone must carry out the D-line social sec tradition.

But in all seriousness, I love a good night out just as much as the next person, and I want to make sure everyone has the best time possible. I already have loads of ideas for themes and games to take our socials to the next level. More importantly, I understand that sometimes things get a bit out of hand. We’ve all been there. As your Social Sec, you can trust that I’ll always have your back—whether you need help, a breather, or someone to make sure you get home safe. Because, above having a fun social a big part of being social sec is also about making sure everyone is okk.

I love the griffins, and I love a night out. Put that together, and you get mischief, and I always make it to mischief. I will ensure that you do as well, so you know what you have to do: vote for Adam, and I shall lead the griffins to greatness.
