As a HEVO, you need to have a strong passion for leadership, patience and lots of energy. It will require lots of session planning and working with people who are either very shy or have never played volleyball before. You will need to engage them, make them feel comfortable and most importantly, make them want to continue playing volleyball!

“As a HEVO, it has taught me a lot about how to teach people who may have never played a sport before and how to encourage people to keep trying. It taught me a lot about how to be patient, slowly building peoples’ confidence and working with large groups of people.
