Hi, I’m Sumaya and I’m a 5th year medical student, and I’d love to be your Medical Education Rep for DermSoc this year!

I’ve always been really interested in Dermatology and would love to get more involved with the society. Back in my first degree, I was Vice President of the Medical Ethics Society, which gave me experience organising events and working with a team. For the past three years, I’ve also been tutoring and creating learning materials, so I’m used to breaking down tricky concepts and finding creative ways to explain things.

If elected, I’d love to bring this experience to DermSoc by helping to run teaching sessions, mock OSCEs and other events that make dermatology easier to understand and more enjoyable. I’m really keen to work with the rest of the team to put together useful resources and share tips that can help us all along the way.

Hi! I’m Fatima, a 5th year medical student, and I’d love the opportunity to join the medical education team for DermSoc.

I’m passionate about supporting fellow students, and I’d like to contribute by developing engaging and practical resources to make revision and exam season a little easier. I’m highly organised, enjoy working collaboratively, and am committed to producing high-quality materials that will benefit everyone.

Dermatology has always been an area of interest for me, and I’d be truly grateful for the chance to get involved and contribute to such a great society.

Hi, I’m Minahil, a fourth year medical student with a big interest in both dermatology and medical education. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and sharing knowledge, so joining the DermSoc education team is an exciting opportunity!

I’d love to help design fun, interactive, and practical resources for both the written exams and OSCEs. My goal is to make learning dermatology engaging and accessible, while inspiring more people to discover just how fascinating the specialty is.

I’d be truly excited and grateful for the chance to be part of the DermSoc team!

Hi I'm Hema, I am a 4th year medic and would love to be considered for medical education representative for Derm Soc. Dermatology is a fascinating specialty and I really enjoyed my dermatology placement in 3rd year and would love to get more people involved. Previously I have organised mock OSCEs and teaching sessions for GP soc and in this role would be keen to organise dermatology focussed sessions, resources and mock OSCEs for 3rd year students.
