Hi, I’m Inaya and I would love the opportunity to be the publicity coordinator for DermSoc. My interest in dermatology has grown through both my academic and clinical experiences. During my GP placement I observed clinics with a GP who had a special interest in dermatology, which first sparked my enthusiasm for the field. I have also taken part in dermatology essay competitions which has strengthened my motivation to learn more about the field and get involved in the society! Not only am I enthusiastic about dermatology, I am also passionate about ensuring students feel informed, engaged and excited about the society’s events.

I have direct experience in publicity and social media from my involvement with the LMM Society last year where I helped manage Instagram and TikTok content by creating engaging posts/videos and stories to advertise events. This has given me first hand experience in producing eye-catching, professional content that keeps members regularly updated and encourages greater engagement.

As Publicity Coordinator, I would bring creativity, organisation, and reliability to the role. My aim is to keep our members up to date with all the Dermsoc events, while also helping attract new students to get involved. I am committed to raising the society’s social media engagement and ensuring that our events are as accessible and well-attended as possible.
