Hello, my name is Estelle, a 3rd year medical student (now going into 4th year) with a strong interest in global health, humanitarian medicine, and a longstanding admiration for the work of Médecins Sans Frontières. My passion for equitable healthcare access has been shaped by volunteering in rural hospitals in Tanzania and Ghana (pictured above), where I witnessed the challenges of delivering acute care in resource-limited settings. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into global health disparities and deepened my commitment to supporting organisations like MSF that provide life-saving care in crisis zones. That’s why I’ve been a proud member of MSF Society for the past three years.

Beyond my interest in global health, I bring strong experience in outreach, promotion, and fundraising. As president of a RAG (Raise and Give) week, I coordinated a variety of events that raised over £4,000 for multiple charities. This included approaching local businesses and organisations for sponsorship and support, managing logistics, and promoting our initiatives through social media. I enjoyed building those community connections and would love to bring that same initiative to MSF Society to help secure sponsors who align with our values and are keen to support our work.

If elected Sponsorship Officer, I’d be excited to work closely with the whole team to maximise donations and resources for our events—whether through advertising, catering, or other forms of sponsorship.
