Having been events and social secretary with Olivia this year, I have really enjoyed being on committee and contributing to the society. As well as this, taking on these roles means that I will be well prepared for the responsibility of being secretary. I have a clear understanding of how the society works behind the scenes, from planning events to working collaboratively with the rest of committee. I have loved being part of Irish dancing since first year, which is when I first started dancing. This means that I not only understand the needs of dancers at different stages but also value the society as a social and developmental space. I am reliable, detail oriented and confident in handling administrative responsibilities. I would love to be your secretary next year and continue to contribute to the success of the society.
