Hi all,

I hope to be your Sponsorship and Alumni Secretary for next year!

If i was to win this position, I would look forward to reaching out to potential sponsors and hopefully creating long-term partnerships for the society.

I would also hope to create and use an alumni network to allow those who were previously part of UOL Tennis to continue participating and supporting the society.

Finally I would look forward to working with those in other society roles to integrate alumni into events and allow those of you who are leaving us this year (or who have left previously) to continue to enjoy Leeds through the tennis society.

With over 1,000 members, Tennis has become a community within the University of Leeds. I want to continue this outside of the University, to those who have graduated but still want to keep connected with the society. By keeping alumni connected through regular updates, networking opportunities, and involvement with the club, we can build a strong support system that benefits both current players and graduates.
On the sponsorship side, I want to work with local and national firms. As our society is already large and continues to grow, sponsors will see strong value in partnering with us to reach a wide audience. I will take advantage of this position by securing sponsorships that benefit our society as a whole. Working with these brands will allow for greater funding for special events, beneficial to all members!! We can use this funding to increase social bar tabs and to get new, high-quality tennis kits for those who participate in training sessions during the week.

My plans:
- Alumni Weekend: Where old members return for an action-packed weekend. Past and present members can connect, playing tennis and hitting the clubs! This will also give the oppurtunity to current members to network with graduates for future career opportunities.
- Alumni Memberships: Give the oldies a chance to come back and attend socials or have a hit by creating an Alumni Membership for graduates.
- Sponsorships: I want to provide the society with sponsorships that actually benefit the members.
- Sponsorship dinner: Offer the sponsors an opportunity to understand Leeds Tennis more by organising a formal dinner where they are able to meet the Committee and Members. This can also be used as a networking event for current members.
- Player/ Match-day sponsors: Provide sponsors with the oppurtunity to sponsor specific BUCS players or match balls for BUCS games. Their logo would be posted on social media with special mentions after each sponsored game.

Why should you vote for me?
Tennis is the largest society in the University, so why do we not have any sponsors? I want to broaden the visibility of Leeds Tennis to a national level and help unlock new oppurtunities for members. Being in the society for the last 2 years as a social and BUCS Performance Player I understand how the society works. I have watched the workings of the society and I believe I truly understand what is needed for it to reach the next level. I am organised, proactive, and not afraid to send a slightly cheeky email to potential sponsors.
