My name is Sanjay Thekepatt, a second year Economics and Finance student at the University of Leeds. I think I am a great fit for the Vice President of Engagement position, hence nominating myself for it. I am an outgoing individual, who is keen to network and build new connections. I have attended numerous networking events and insight days to help with this. An example would be the Bright Network Investment Banking internship that ran over a course of 3 days in early July. Through that, I met like minded individuals and made contacts with students across UK. I am a good communicator and a team player which is essential for this role. Having completed a summer internship and leading sports teams back in school, these skills have definitely been put to test and I have improved at this and will look to improve even more.

My aims for this year include working on maintaining relationships with our sponsors being HSBC, EY etc, organise virtual calls or in-person meetings with our business coaches, work closely with the president, my fellow VPE and the rest of the society to ensure effective, smooth running of Enactus Leeds, participate in conferences for Enactus VPE'S. Finally, I hope to work on serving the Enactus members well, once I have been elected into the position. I hope the best candidates win and I look forward to serving you soon!

Having been a part of various social organizations, and having headed a few of them, I feel I have more than just my ideas to contribute to Enactus Leeds. I bring with me my passion towards creating a better world, and towards bringing about substantial change by working at grassroot levels. Enactus has been one of the most prestigious student run clubs, and my vision is to introduce newer projects this term, that not only take us one step closer to our shared vision, but also provide our members with the space to grow individually and build their skills.
