नमस्ते !

hi all, i'm kristina somai and i am running for the role of president for lunepsoc 2025/26 ! from being vice president for the previous year, i believe it has taught me a lot about starting a society from the ground up and what it takes to add value into the community. i am ready for a larger responsibility and what that entails alongside some of the core group members.

i want the nepalese as well as the broader community to thrive, creating fun / memorable events for life. i aim to make everyone feel as comfortable and welcomed despite not being of nepali heritage ! anyone can celebrate our traditions and honour the nepali pride.

i also want to include more collaborations with other societies internally in leeds and also externally amongst the northern universities! i have a whole list of exciting ideas, but most importantly - listening to you, the people who made this society possible!
