I have been a member of LUSCR since I came to Leeds 2 years ago and was the social secretary this year. I would like to be treasurer because I have a good understanding of accounts and will be developing my understanding during my year in industry placement. I also have good numerical skills and I am proficient at using Excel, which would be beneficial in this role as it will allow me to manage the society’s finances and keep up-to-date accounts. I am well organised and responsible, which will be useful when monitoring the petty cash and authorising expense claims.
