Hi all I am nominating myself for kit secretary.
I believe I will be a good fit for the role as I am a very organised person and will make sure to stay on top of all the responsibilities that is required for the kit secretary. I like to get responsibilities done as soon as possible and so I will ensure to take full inventory at the first opportunity and stay on top of rented kit to ensure none is lost.

I know the importance of kit in not just protecting us and allowing us to do what we love but also the financial costs it has and so making sure to maintain good quality kit that has the right sizes for everyone is incredibly important. I will hope to continue the good work done this year that involved thorough inspections of kit as well as ensuring all kit is returned.


Coming in to my third year with the Leeds Gryphons and with the sport as a whole I have really enjoyed learning and getting better and I want to ensure I can give that experience to any potential new players and that wouldn't be possible without top quality kit.

It would be my pleasure to take care of all the kit that protects us from being battered by some of the bigger (but far less skilled) opposition.

I see this as a starting position, as I hope to move on to larger roles, treasurer or secretary, in my long future with the club. However I don’t think of it as a small role and know that there can be a lot of work at times. Which I am more than up to.

I also hope to improve the ease of acquisition of new kit for the members.

I have thought of starting a “programme” where we help those who want to buy their own kit. Especially those who don’t know a lot about the kit requirements or where to get it.

My perfectionist personality when it comes to organisation would come in nicely. However, I think this is more suited to kit than organising matches or people etc.
