Hi team, I'm Fraser (ex-pres) and I'm running for Open Seat! I'll be bringing three years of experience to the role, and I aim to assist the new committee with running the society. My time on committee as president has given me a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of Backstage, and my experience in interfacing with LUU will guarantee a good working relationship for the society.

Hi, I'm Alicia. I'm a 2nd year (going into 3rd) Int History and Politics student. I joined Backstage at the beginning of my 1st year and it made all the difference to my experience as I had a great way to meet people and an activity that I loved. This will be my 3rd year in Backstage and I have gained so much from my time here and I want to be able to give that back by being on committee and assisting the running of the society.

I have worked on a range of shows and have done shows with groups that are completely different to our which have given me a great understanding of what to do and what not to do which I think would be a benefit I could bring to the position of Open Seat. I have a lot of experience working on dance shows especially which have given me a greater ability to problem solved quickly and to deal with stressful situations.

I should have a very flexible schedule next which should allow to support the committees where needed and make me able to fill in for people on short notice if that is needed. I feel I can act as another ear during meetings and ensure that problems can be dealt with efficiently.
