Hello, I am Gabby. I study Fine Art with History of Art, I love Renaissance art and oil painting and dragging my friends into art galleries. I know from experience during the first year how important the society's events and artists' talks have been to bringing art inspiration and context to studies.
As Secretary, I would look to generate more members by building on the foundations of the current society and social media page as well as organising trips to galleries and assisting the President with note-taking and organisation. I would create a friendly, creative and inclusive environment for students studying within the programme and outside of the course. There are so many opportunities within Leeds and surrounding areas for arts - I would encourage and promote visits and hopefully increase contacts for the society to build upon.
