Hey Everyone!

My names Maddy, I’m a second year Education student going into my third and final year at Leeds and I would absolutely love to be your Freestyle Treasurer for 24-25!!! I love absolutely every aspect of this society and joining has been the best decision I’ve made. Since joining this incredible society, I have met so many people who I adore, have been to amazing classes every Wednesday with brilliant choreographers, taken it too far at socials ;) and have had the most incredible time competing. Through being elected as Treasurer on committee, I would want nothing more than to help and see the Freestyle family grow and achieve so many amazing things next year and of course for years to come after that. As Treasurer, I will work closely with the committee to ensure that all budgets are in good order and have a clear idea of much we need to raise to keep Freestyle running smoothly. I may be going into my final year at Leeds and dancing with all of you :(, however, my flexible timetable for my course would allow me to stay structured and make sure all finances are well understood and always managed, with clear weekly projections. As Treasurer, I also want to be a friendly, approachable face who members would always feel comfortable discussing any financial issues they may face with, and we will always find solutions to these! As an Education Undergrad with years of experience in both qualified gymnastics coaching and judging all levels and styles, I have built strong communication skills, am good at working with numbers, meeting deadlines and presenting information in clear and concise ways. So, I’d love for you to vote for me to be your Treasurer for 24-25 and we can keep Freestyle SLAYING as it always does!!
