Running for Secretary because I love planning, vibing, and making sure every event hits like a perfect porotta-beef combo.

Hi everyone! I’m Aditi, a first-year BA Business Management student, and I’m excited to be running for the position of Secretary of Leeds Mallu Soc. Ever since I joined uni, I’ve loved being a part of Mallu Soc – it’s been a space where I’ve felt welcomed, connected, plus met my best friends!! (that one movie night i will never forget!)

I’m passionate about continuing to build this space for all of us – one where people can come together, make lasting friendships, and enjoy events that are not only fun but also meaningful. As Secretary, I aim to support the committee in every way I can – whether it’s taking minutes, helping plan and coordinate events, managing communications, or simply being a reliable helping hand whenever needed.
I believe strong organisation and clear communication that are skills I've honed from hosting various events from school, are key to a successful society, and I’m ready to bring those values to this role. I’d love to work alongside a creative, enthusiastic team to bring your ideas to life – from movie nights and food festivals to chill hangouts.
If elected, I promise to listen to your feedback, stay approachable and involved, and work hard to make sure Mallu Soc continues to grow as a vibrant, inclusive community.
