Gryphons! Here’s why I’d love to be your gameday manager for 2026:

Firstly, I am a committed Gryphon, and I care a lot about the team. As a rookie QB, I knew it’d be unlikely for me to play this year, but I remained dedicated, attending most trainings and matches. My dedication to the team was mostly off the field this season: chain crew, helping Christian with chopping QwikCut film and drawing up scout defences, creating and signalling play call gestures, and supporting my teammates in general with lifts to training. I even set up some additional rookie training sessions in the park.

Also, I have previously organised events, including a full UK tour for my band last November. Through hiring venues, finding support acts, administering and promoting ticket sales, dealing with travel logistics and more, I learned loads of organisational and communication skills, which I’ll make good use of as your gameday sec. Also very capable on Microsoft Excel.

As gameday sec, I’ll prioritise improving the matchday experience, as well as the admin side of things.
- I will incentivise, encourage and fairly rotate chain crew volunteers, ensuring that volunteers feel appreciated for their efforts while avoiding the committee stress of finding helpers.
- I’ll also ensure that the roster is released earlier than it has been this season, allowing for better matchday preparation.
- I will work with the kit sec to make sure that everyone on the roster is kitted up, avoiding the disappointments that we had this season.
- I’ll keep bus journeys entertaining, taking the usual quizzes to the next level, with secret challenges, games, and prizes for winners. I’ll also act on complaints about the bus temperature (nice one magpie)

It has been a pleasure being a Gryphon this season, and I’m excited to contribute to us getting out of Div 1 and back in the Prem where we belong!

Gryphons, I would love to be your Gameday Secretary next season!

I am a committed member of the team, having not missed a game in my 2 years of playing, whilst attending almost every training. As a gameday sec, I would show the same level of dedication, making sure Sundays run as smoothly as possible, whether that’s communicating clearly with refs and medics or making sure transport stays on schedule.

Organisation is a huge part of this role, and I have experience managing my former football team, organising the squad, lifts and kit for the team, and I would implement these same skills to create stress-free Sundays for all.

I have contacts in cheer and aim to get them down to more of our games this year, enhancing the atmosphere at our games. To keep spirits high throughout the coaches back (where we won’t be baking in a Munsauna), I will continue pushing for entertainment, from quizzes to compulsory fresher karaoke.

I want to give back to the society that made my uni experience, and finish my three years of uni by helping the team back to Prem as we deserve, so vote Wray for Gameday!
