Hi, I’m Max (Burgers) and this year I am running for Sponsorship Sec.

I’ve had an amazing first year playing with the Gryphons and going into my second I’d like to play a bigger role in helping the club grow.

Why Vote Burgers:

-Will work hard to contact companies and local businesses to maintain our existing sponsorships as well as bringing in new ones that benefit the whole club.

-Hard working and very organised, willing to chase up enquiries.

-Will bring additional sponsorships for socials (shout out to Mr Heneghan’s successful White Claw campaign🫡).

-Communicate effectively with the rest of the committee to help organise bigger and better events, such as free bar tabs for the Super Bowl and sponsored team meals.

-Work with Merch Sec to get discounted kit, merch and sports equipment for the Gryphons.

I really care about this club and would love the opportunity to help make a real difference. Vote Burgers for sponsorship sec and I’ll make sure we get the most out of our sponsorships.

Hello, my name is Fin Greaves and I’m running for Sponsorship Secretary.

I’m going for this role because I want to help the club keep growing and build on what’s already been done. I’ll stay committed to maintaining our current sponsors and making sure those relationships stay strong, while also building on the great groundwork set by previous secretaries.

I’m confident speaking to both local businesses and bigger companies, and I’m happy to put myself out there to find new and exciting sponsors to support the team and improve our season.

I’m also proud to say I’m “magpie approved,” and I’d love to carry on the legacy.

Hi I’m Ted and this year I’m running for sponsorship sec.

I am someone who is comfortable reaching out to new people and representing the club in a professional way. Whether it is contacting local businesses or bigger brands that target students, I would be confident initiating conversations, following them up, and ensuring that we get results. I also understand sponsorship isn’t just about asking for money but also about demonstrating how beneficial a partnership would be to both parties.

If elected to this position, my focus would be on both expanding our current network of sponsors and developing our existing relationships. This would involve being on top of our renewals, maintaining consistent communication with our sponsors and trying to get the most out of every sponsorship. I’d also look for opportunities to bring in deals from some of your favorite brands (Monster sponsorship incoming).

I’m organised, reliable, and not afraid to chase things up when needed, which is something that will help me be successful in this role. I’d work closely with the rest of the committee to make sure any sponsorship opportunities are used effectively and align with what the team needs.

I’d love the opportunity to give back to the club, contribute to it’s success and be able to enhance the experience for everyone.
