Hiya, I’m Becca and I‘ll be going into my 3rd year of medicine next year. Having been fundraising rep for the society for the last year, I have a good understanding of the skills needed and how the society runs. I’d love to be your fundraising rep again next year and continue trying to raise awareness of the work MSF does and fundraise to support their work. Working for MSF in humanitarian aid is a future goal of mine and I think the work they do is incredible.

Some ideas I have for fundraising events include a committee distance run, open mic night, Yorkshire three peaks challenge or a bake sale and competition (but make it MSF themed!). I work well in a team so would be very happy working alongside the events reps to plan and organise these fundraisers. I’d hope to encourage more students from different courses to get involved and spread the word further about MSF’s work and global health.

I would love to be your FOMSF fundraising rep for next year and I hope it will be a really successful year and we raise as much money as possible for MSF!
