Hi everyone!
My name is Kirsten/Kirsty Hunter I’m currently a first year environmental science student at Leeds and am excited to be running for your next social media secretary for ROCSOC.

I’ve had a wonderful first year at Leeds & have had the privilege of attending many ROCSOC events, my favourite of course being the renowned fridge to fridge.
Following the amazing committee of 2024/2025 I would like to now be a part of the team, managing social media to elevate the society’s presence even more across its social platforms!

I’ve always had a passion for social media & photography like most people our age, utilising canva & Pinterest to create creative posts & eye catching collages.

I have previous experience working with a youth environmental movement group, where I was responsible for creating engaging social media posts, lesson plans & campaigns aimed at raising awareness on current environmental issues. A
If elected I will be committed to not only using the ROCSOC social media to promote amazing events planned by the wider committee but also important causes & charities the society & its members believe in.
