RocSoc has played a massive role in my first year at uni. This society has helped me to meet and better get to know some of my closest friends. As president, I will work to recreate this experience for all freshers. I will bring passion, creativity and enthusiasm to the role and will use these attributes as president to help come up with new and exciting activities for RocSoc to partake in whilst continuing with classics such as fridge to fridge- which I am proud to say I have 100% attendance for!

More than just social events, I will try to ensure every member of the society feels included, especially freshers, and part of a close-knit community. I will encourage and strive for a fun, vibrant and friendly society for everyone to join. I will offer both sober and non-sober activities for society members to make the society more widely accessible. Furthermore I will offer educational opportunities to provide skills and help gain further knowledge in the areas they are interested in.

Overall, I would work closely with my fellow committee members to create a society that is fun, welcoming and unforgettable. Whether its new friendships, new experiences or just a fun time. I’ll make sure RocSoc is the place to be.
