To LUUTIS Members,

I’m Ansh Vasandani, a second-year Economics and Finance student here at the University of Leeds, and I’m running to be your LUUTIS President for the 2025/2026 academic year.

My goal for the upcoming year is simple: value creation. As LUUTIS Treasurer, I’ve seen both the challenges students face and the society’s potential for growth. Here’s what I propose:

• Stock Pitch Competition: An exclusive competition for LUUTIS members, judged by industry experts, with cash prizes and certificates for participants.

• Online Forum & Member Engagement: Implement an online forum and a group chat as platforms for members to share ideas, collaborate, and shape its future.

• Career Development Programme: One-to-one coaching with tailored feedback on your CV, cover letter, and job applications, plus a structured learning series on networking, cold emailing and financial modelling.

• Exclusive Insight Days & Subsidised Competitions: Organise visits to top-tier firms for industry exposure and recruitment insights, while also offering subsidised access to external competitions.

Apart from introducing new initiatives, I plan to improve existing ones like the Virtual Fund Competition and Spring Ball by listening to your feedback and ensuring they run smoothly. I'm also committed to providing more opportunities such as insight days and spring/summer internships for underrepresented students through our relationship with SEO London and GAIN, ensuring these members can access valuable opportunities.

I aim to position LUUTIS as the top society for students pursuing high finance, and I hope you’ll vote for me to help set new standards for LUUTIS!
