Hi, I’m Kat! I’ve been working with RAG through the Media societies and Activities Exec for two years. I would love to be co-president for my final year at Leeds.

I’m incredibly passionate about fundraising, especially as I’m part of many marginalised identities as a queer, non-binary, disabled, working-class person. I have a rich background in activism that I feel is crucial to succeed in leading the RAG community to a fruitful year of raising and giving!

I’ve been in many roles of responsibility in my time at Leeds, including leading the Student Disability Panel, representing Media societies on the Activities Exec and being the Head of Training for LSTV. While excelling in these roles, I ran for LeadLUU under the Activities and Opportunities role last year. So you know I’m committed and determined to make change any way I can!

I’m an incredibly organised and communicative person- seriously, my email game is unmatched- and I’m very good at multitasking and handling the pressure of juggling multiple goals. There’s no one better in a crisis or when making tough decisions.

I have experience in arts marketing and have worked with registered charities like the National Videogame Museum. I even won the Green Flag award as an overachieving 11 year old for my passionate environmental fundraising!

Rag, under my co-presidency, will be a warm, welcoming place for all to support and raise awareness for the causes that mean the most to them. This includes being actively aware of accessibility issues for people with various disabilities or personal requirements. I will work tightly with our well-being officer to ensure members are happy and fulfilled with us. If we don’t elect one this year, I will take on this responsibility myself.
