Hi I am Kelsey!
I am a final-year Business Management student & returning from a placement year working at Unilever in Customer Packaging Procurement. Before my placement year I was an active RAG member as a Marketing Co-ordinator on the RAG events committee, I have helped organise & run the RAG events previously and this has inspired me with some ideas I hope to bring to the table this year! Charity has always been very important to me, I have worked for an education charity in Leeds for the past 2 years as a Maths Tutor, and I previously volunteered in Peru on rural community projects. I am passionate about both local & international charity and have used my love of events management to fundraise for over two years, running a range of events including fayres & quizzes, for the organisation I volunteered with in Peru! I am currently on placement at Unilever working on Customer Packaging, procurement has meant I have gained a range of experience; including working with marketing & artwork communicating about design, financial experience planning our team spend, coordinating with operations on our supply chain across Europe, being creative & coming up with savings projects, which I then help coordinate, and I have personally hosted suppliers, making sure they are provided with a great experience at our sites. I think I have gained a great range of skills which I can bring to the role, organisation has been implicit in my job, this role involves managing & coordinating across all functions, and I believe I have the experience to do that! Recruitment is a key aspect of this role & I feel confident doing that effectively, I co-led the recruitment of the next placement students; I created ads, spoke across universities & conducted interviews. I am creative & extremely hard-working, I feel passionately about all of the events, having been involved with the events committee and an avid attender of the Fashion show. I was on the events committee during lockdown & I would really look forward to bringing a fun & social element to the role. I am applying to the role on my own but would love to work with anyone else applying 😊

Hi there, I am Harry. I am a business student with a keen interest in volunteering. I started off volunteering from a young age since I believe giving back to the community is very important. I have been part of Oxfam for over four years now and led one of their campaigns to raise the funds during the pandemic. Currently, I am also working on my own project which involves the merging of delivery chains in regard to clothing for the homeless. I have a couple of more ideas that I would love to share with society and make work. Lastly, I have a fair amount of experience in event management and am currently, the president of residence life’s accommodation where my role exposes me to put on events for the university and collaborate with the other accommodations within a prior budget.
