Hey LUUWRUFC!!!

I'm excited for the opportunity to run for the interim position of Kit Secretary while Megan is recovering from her surgery. I believe I have the dedication and enthusiasm to contribute positively to our club for a few reasons:

1. Reliable Kit Transportation & Storage: I have a car and space at home, so I can easily store and transport the kit to and from matches, training, and the dry cleaners. Living in a majority rugby household, a household of rugby players (more or less), I’m really don’t think anyone will mind if the living room fills up with kit now and then…

2. Attendance & Backup: I’m a regular at training, and on the rare occasions I might miss a session, I live with three other rugby players who are always ready to help by taking the kit, meaning we never have to worry about the equipment making it to training.

3. New Kit & Merch: I’m passionate about improving our kit and I want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and proud in what they wear. I know this has already been a big task for committee and I would love the opportunity to contribute to any further decisions regarding this matter.

4. Continuing Club Initiatives: As it is MFB’s role, I aim to continue with the ideas and aims put forward in her manifesto, including using hypoallergenic washing powder to ensure our kit is as comfortable for everyone as possible.

5. Strong Relationships: I guess you could say have a great personal relationship with a couple the committee members and look forward to building on that with the rest of the team. Working together, I hope to make sure we have all the kit we need from every aspect and that communication is clear from me.

6. Giving Back: This club has given me so much, and being part of the committee would be my way of giving back. I’d love the chance to help improve our club in a wider way too and make sure every member has the best experience possible.
