Hi!

I am Noah and I would love to be one of your general committee (publicity) reps forthe 26/27 academic year. In 24/25 I collaborated on much of the publicity initiatives of Leeds FoMSF, taking the lead on the super successful Beats Without Borders publicity run, accruing tens of thousands of views across the instagram profile. That year I also attended the FoMSF committee training day in London through which we conducted workshops covering publicity; I understand the close relationship between MSFs values, their vision and their brand. I am also proficient in graphic design.

Hi! My name is Umi, I’m a 4th year medical student running for general committee as part of leeds friends of MSF. Last year I was treasurer of the society - this is equipped me with the skills to be able to organise the myriad of events we put on! Including some of our big events such as ‘beats without borders’. I loved how the committee worked so collaboratively together and I hope to bring this back next year.

The work MSF do is so important and prevalent in medicine and society in general. I would love to be a part of a team who raises awareness for the incredible work that the charity do; I hope to bring new ideas to the society next year including global health talks and new fundraising ideas that everyone can enjoy!

Hi! I'm Zara, a current fourth year medic and I'd love to join the Leeds Friends of MSF committee next year.

The work MSF do is endlessly inspiring. Wanting to volunteer for them was one of my goals when I first went in to medicine, and being able to support them by contributing to this society would be a privilege. Unfortunately, many medical students are unaware of the importance of MSF and I'd love to work with you all to change that :)

My favourite MSF event has been Beats without Borders and it's an event I would love to help bring back, alongside lots of other fundraising and educational initiatives. I have previously helped organise large scale multi-society fundraising collabs so I would be able to bring this experience to next year's committee for even bigger and better events. I'd also love to introduce a mock OSCE and teaching series to put us on the map (and WhatsApp chat!).

Hey guys!!!!

My name is Marina and I'm currently a 4th year medic and would love to be in Leeds Friends of MSF next year!!! MSF has had a comeback and we are so ready to get events going to raise money for this amazing organisation!!!
I have been events rep and president of Leeds Friends of MSF in previous years so I believe I have got the skills and experience to be part of this super cool committee!! Last year we raised over 1000 pounds in Beats Without Borders, Fun Run, Pub Quiz, guest talks and more and I cannot wait to get involved next year to bring back old and new events!
MSF is such a vital organisation that provides essential aid to people in most need so the fact we can contribute in a small part by organising events to raise money and awareness for them is so special and one of my favourite parts of last academic year!
I am very hard working, organised and love working with like-minded people! I would be over the moon if I could be back in the committee!
