Hi, I’m Magda, a fourth-year medical student who would love to join your team as sponsorship officer! Intercalating in Global Public Health has helped me explore my passions and gain experience in tackling global health issues. I have always admired the work MSF do and loved the Leeds FOMSF events I have attended in the past. One such event ignited my special interest in healthcare in conflict settings, which inspired my dissertation on the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon (a country which MSF have worked in). There are so many forgotten conflicts and global health crises around the world, and I am dedicated to doing my part in raising awareness about them (through brilliant initiatives like MSF Mondays :) ) as well as helping fundraise.
I was part of Raise Leeds (a student led charity) and have experience in engaging people in global health issues and liaising with organisations. My great communication and organisational skills mean that I am well-placed to build long-lasting relationships with sponsors. I also have experience in planning large events, which will help support other committee members. I love working in collaborative teams, brainstorming new ideas, and working hard to make a sometimes small but always significant change!

I'm a fifth year medical student passionate about MSF and its mission to provide essential medical care worldwide. My enthusiasm for global health and humanitarian work drives my desire to create impactful sponsorship opportunities. With excellent communication skills, I'm eager to build meaningful partnerships that support MSF’s life-saving initiatives with a few ideas in mind that could be pursued. In my final year of medical school, I'm eager to make the most of this opportunity to serve as sponsorship representative for Friends of MSF.

I'm Safia, a fourth-year medical student currently intercalating in Biomedical and Healthcare Ethics. I'd love to join FoMSF to collaborate with like-minded individuals in raising funds for those in need. It’s also important to me to use this platform to raise awareness of global healthcare inequities, standing in solidarity with those who are suffering, no matter where they are. I’m confident my organisational and communicative skills will enable me to build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, allowing me to make a meaningful contribution to the society.

Hiya! I’m Nia and I'd love to be your sponsorship rep for Leed’s FOMSF society. I’m currently a 3rd year medical student hoping to intercalate in global health very soon as I'm super passionate about the subject! I love travelling and connecting with people from other backgrounds and cultures, and in the future would love to work for a NGO. Hence, this role would give me valuable experience In networking with charities and organisations. I can’t wait to get in touch with charities like MSF, Doctors Worldwide and more. So many need our help and I'd do my best to listen to you all and help set up talks and fundraising events with organisations/causes that you feel passionate about, especially sending aid to Palestine who need our support now more than ever 🕊️
