Happy September everyone! My name is Matilda, or Tilly, and I would absolutely love to be your Fundraising Rep for Leeds FoMSF this year. I'm a 3rd Year Medic and have been an active member of MSF since I started in Leeds, this year I'm keen to get more involed.

I am in admiration of the humanitarian aid that MSF deliver in over 90 countries in the most extreme of conditions and circumstances. I am so passionate about supporting a charity that does such essential work in tackling health inequality and can't wait to get more people on board too!

In my role as Sponsorship Sec for another LUU Society I honed skills in building relationships, event organisation and effective engagement that will support me in this role. I also have connections with other charities and societies in Leeds that I am keen to work with to widen our audience and promote awareness.

Hey I’m Sophia - I am a 3rd year medical student applying to be part of the FoMSF committee this year as fundraising rep. This is a great opportunity for me to work with some passionate people to raise money and awareness for Medicins Sans Frontières and the fantastic work they do. Throughout the year, I will commit to collaborating with other members of the committee to organise society events which will contribute to our cause as well as potentially working with other societies too! I will always remember to focus attention to health emergencies across the globe to which our efforts will try to make a small albeit important difference.

I am organised and dedicated. I have past experiences of working as a charity rep to arrange events to raise money and remain passionate that this role would be well suited to me! I hope to help find creative ways in which we can encourage involvement in this society. My interest in MSF began when I took the languages without borders course in first year and am excited to explore more! In our current climate it is vital we continue our support of MSF, and I would be extremely grateful to contribute!

I'm Safia, a fourth-year medical student currently intercalating in Biomedical and Healthcare Ethics. I'd love to join FoMSF to collaborate with like-minded individuals in raising funds for those in need. It’s also important to me to use this platform to raise awareness of global healthcare inequities, standing in solidarity with those who are suffering, no matter where they are. I’m confident my organisational and creative skills with allow me to bring innovative fundraising ideas to the table, allowing me to make a meaningful contribution to the society.

'm a fifth year medical student passionate about MSF and its mission to provide essential medical care worldwide. My enthusiasm for global health and humanitarian work drives my desire to create impactful fundraising opportunities. With excellent communication skills, I'm eager to organise events that support MSF’s life-saving initiatives with a few ideas in mind that could be pursued. In my final year of medical school, I'm eager to make the most of this opportunity to serve as sponsorship representative for Friends of MSF. My medical elective in Belize opened my eyes to the critical need for accessible healthcare in underserved communities. It deepened my passion for global health and reinforced my belief in the importance of Médecins Sans Frontières’ mission. As Fundraising Representative, I’ll bring this experience into my work
