Publicity Officer

Publicity officer will be required to cover a large variety of publicity techniques, including social media, flyers and leaflets and more, all of which are essential for SSAFE to increase reach to university students.

Skills and qualities required:

Creativity and ability to generate ideas
Understanding of canva (this can be developed)
Communication

Key responsibilities:

Hiring Social Media Officers to help with Instagram coverage
Planning publicity strategies and campaigns.
Writing and producing presentations, articles, press releases and social media posts.
Designing or project managing the production of visual communications and digital content.
Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press and related organisations.
Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits.
Analysing media coverage.
Coordinating and analysing the success of online advertising.
