Team managers are vital to ensure the smooth running of each of our four BUCS teams. 

As Team Manager, you will become a central point of contact between the head coach, team captain, committee and players – ensuring everything runs smoothly on and off the court. If you are organised, proactive and confident communicating with other, this is a great way to become part of committee! 

Responsibilities include: 
•⁠  ⁠Organising transport for away games, and accommodation when required
•⁠  ⁠Monitoring player memberships and add on fees 
•⁠  ⁠Keeping track of fixture dates and times, and liaising with our internal BUCS team if changes are required
•⁠  ⁠Organising officials for home games 
•⁠  ⁠Communicating fixtures to the wider society 
•⁠  ⁠Supporting the team on match days

As Team Manager you will take on key responsibilities within a competitive BUCS team. You will have direct involvement in match days and society operations. Sports management will be a strong addition to any CV and beyond that you will be at the centre of the team environment – celebrating wins, supporting through challenges, and building friendships in both the teams and in committee, that will last well beyond university. For us, as Team Managers this year, this role had been one of the most rewarding ways to get involved with Volleyball Society!! Any questions come find any one of us
