Hi everyone! I'm Michelle!

I joined volleyball at the start of this year and very quickly fell in love with both the sport and the community, especially the Wednesday socials, where I’m usually the one with a digital camera in hand, documenting moments that probably shouldn’t be documented.

As Deputy Head Girl in sixth form, I worked closely with the senior leadership team, attending weekly meetings and helping keep things running (arguably doing half their job for them). I also led the event committee, where I organised three school balls in one year: coordinating with venues, catering, staff, and budgets, all without anything falling apart (which I think is a strong achievement).

I am extremely organised and borderline obsessed with emails and calendars. I check my inbox far more than I’d like to admit, and my calendar is honestly a work of art.

My goals are to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while our teams continue to do what they do best. I’ll make sure all important information is sent out clearly and on time, so no one is left confused about training, matches, or events. I also want to continue strengthening our connection with the union to help keep the society thriving.

I’d love the opportunity to help keep the society running efficiently while making sure everyone stays informed and involved, and an opportunity to procastinate my third year project!
