Hi, I'm Annie and I am also running to be Kit Sec! I've been a part of Barbell for two years now and am keen to give back to society in any way I can, whether it is this or PL Captain!

I have experience with different design platforms (Canva is a given, but I also have experience in Photoshop), so I can make some awesome kit this year. In particular, having heard of people's complaints about the fit of our current Barbell T-shirts, I'm hoping to find a different supplier so that these concerns can be addressed; I also hope to be able to get lifters' initials or surnames on shirts this year as well as some other nice detailing!

I also have experience in website management so managing the Barbell Gryphon merch through Surridge won't be a problem either!

I'm also aware that securing necessary kit can be a huge financial burden on our lifters so I will try to seek discounts on IPF-standard kit wherever I can. I will ensure that students on the Plus Programme are fully aware that they can reimburse some of the costs of kit back through the Clubs and Societies Associated Costs Fund. I will try to negotiate how much kit could be covered by this fund for eligible members. I will try to seek other university avenues that could supply some funding support to cover kit costs too for those who need it.
