Welfare & Inclusivity Assistant

• Act as a visible welfare presence at all socials and events.
• Support the Welfare Secretary in promoting wellbeing, inclusivity, and accessibility within the society.
• Be a first point of contact for welfare concerns during events and ensure members feel supported and included.
• Help plan and organise welfare-focused activities (e.g. chill socials, wellbeing check-ins, campaigns).
• Assist in creating or sharing welfare resources and signposting to university support services.
• Gather feedback from members about inclusivity and wellbeing to share with the committee.
• Work with the Events team to ensure socials are accessible, safe, and inclusive for all members.
• Help foster a positive and supportive society culture.
• Communicate regularly with the Welfare Secretary to keep them updated on event attendance and member well-being.
