Hi everyone,

My name is Flora, I’m a second-year medical student, and I have absolutely loved being part of the society this year as it’s been so rewarding to make a positive impact whilst also having a great time!

This year I am running for mem(bears!) coordinator which is a role I think I’d be extremely suited for as I’m very organised and I have good attention to detail. This will make me an excellent fit for this role as I’ll be able to keep track of all the information regarding our members and visits, making sure no-one and nothing falls through the cracks, enabling the society to run as effectively as possible. My good team collaboration and communication skills will also help in this role as I’ll be able to work well alongside the members and committee, especially the secretary. I pride myself in being a patient and supportive person which will make for a good committee member in general, as I will be there to support any members and foster a positive environment within the society.

I also think I will be able to have a good impact within the society by implementing some new initiatives to encourage more members to join, and keep members engaged. For instance, I would like to put posters with QR codes around the university that give people an easy and accessible way to sign up the society. Additionally, I aim to maintain engagement by periodically emailing members, perhaps updating them on their visit count to motivate further participation and therefore, the achievement of certificates.

Thank you for considering me for the role of members coordinator. I look forward to continuing to be part of the society next year, in whatever role that may be, and seeing what further impacts we can have!

Hey, I'm currently a 2nd Year Diagnostic Radiographer student who would love to be voted onto the committee to be a member coordinator.

The reason why I would be best for this role is, I am very organised person and have lead a few events for this society such as leading a group volunteers to teach two classes on how hospitals are not scary and not to be scared of their up coming vaccinations.

This year I have noticed the society has mainly medical students as volunteers, if I am elected to be in the societies committee, I will try to show other students within the University you do not need a medical background to be with this society.
I will listen to every volunteers queries about the event they are taking part in and sending out all the information about the event as soon as possible.

I really hope you vote for me to be the societies member coordinator.
