Hi all! I'm Eve and I'm running for Head of Production at LSR. For those who don't know me I'm a 2nd Year student studying Biology, but don't let that dishearten you. I'm incredibly passionate about media and am always in the LSR office. I would be good for the role of production as I am constantly editing audio, whether that be shows or interviews, and I'm always ready to cut out blank space and add in a bed (or two!). I'm easy to talk to and I'm very approachable, so if you're ever having problems with the studio, the computers in the office (I know they're a nightmare) or just editing in general, I'm always on hand to help. I'm currently the secretary for Leeds Women's Football, so I have to be extremely organised and stick to deadlines, as well as making sure everyone is included. I would implement these skills to make sure everything I do is completed to any set deadline, whilst ensuring the highest quality of sound. I would also make everyone feels included in the station sound and get as many shows as possible to be part of the ads. My ideas for the station sound of LSR 23/24 are: supporting the podcasting team with training on how to use audio editing software to get the best sounding product; working with the head of online, heads of music and head of live to have the most influential and high profile interviews sounding the best quality and subsequently broadcasting these to a wider audience online and in other media outlets; work with LSTV's equivalent of production on cross platform events to learn production across multiple forms of media; and be open and available t train others in how to make the best station sound. I can't express how much I love LSR, and being on committee for a role so hands on and creative would be amazing. If you could vote for me, I'd be very grateful!
