My name is Izzy Bailham and I am a first year comms and media student! Why should you vote for me?

Some of my ideas
- Media ball! who says we are too small of a course for a ball?
- Lots and lots of nights out
- I’d incorporate some weekly fun group events as well! such as friendship bracelet making, quiz nights and study seshes!

I am Janice, a first year Digital Media student and an introvert bean looking for a chance to become an extroverted one! :D I am running for Events officer because I would love to create more opportunities for everyone in school of media and comms to get to know each other and make friends!

For experiences, I have been one of the events committee for the media school for the past year, organising the last two socials and therefore is very familiar with organising events within the school (e.g. I have contacts from the school) I was the sociology subject leader for sixth-form and I am elected as internal vice president for the LUU Hong Kong society 24/25, proving my abilities as well as my leadership, time management and personal skills. I also have lots of ideas for socials and would try my best to make them happen!

Lastly, I have connections with every department of the school, and would really want to put my skills into developing sense of belonging to this community.
