As a Foundation year student progressing onto do Cultural and Media Studies, I have really enjoyed being a member of the LMS society, a very welcoming group, and would love to help run it, coming up with creative decisions. I have also been part of the media netball team and attended media socials this year which has been so much fun! I would like to take on the role as vice president as I am passionate about the media and would love to make a space where everyone can express themselves and feel included. Through planning events and helping others in the committee, I believe it is importance to contribute to the society and empower members to explore their passions. It is also nice to make friends with people of similar interests. Together, let’s inspire one another and share our views on the world of media!
