Hi!

My name is Jessie and I have been a course rep for the past year for Media and Communications BA. I am running for social media officer as I am incredibly passionate about creating and developing digital content. I have experience video making and marketing, as I have previously ran social media accounts for events that I have managed.

My love for social media stems from engaging in pop culture online, therefore I am always up to date with the newest trends, music and celebrity drama! I would absolutely love to put my own creative flare into the posts on the LMS social media, making them visually appealing, but also informative regarding upcoming events, opportunities or useful information. As an active social media user, I will ensure that all messages and queries are responded to promptly.

Finally, I would also look into starting a Tik Tok page for LMS to display content from events, as it is another way to encourage people to engage with the society! I have experience creating short form content on Tik Tok, holding just short of 20,000 followers. Some fun facts about me: I am from Nottingham, I love music and singing, and my fave night out in Leeds has to be Mischief (you can catch me in the top room!)
