My name is Jason Cheung, I am a first-year Accounting and Finance student. I am excited to put myself forward for the role of Event Director. I want to make our society’s events more fun, inclusive and memorable for everyone.

I am from Hong Kong, I would love to share the Cantonese culture- whether it’s through movie nights, dim sum outings or fun workshops. I think it would be a good way to learn more about the culture and enjoy new experiences together.

Why choose me? I was the vice president of the school representative council back in my secondary school in Hong Kong. I was responsible in organizing events like school open day and student union elections.

If you consider me as the event director, I will do my best to hold the events by using all the experiences I had from the previous role.
