The Treasurer is responsible for managing the society's finances and ensuring that all financial transactions are conducted transparently and responsibly. They will also seek and liaise with sponsors and apply for funds.

Their responsibilities include:

Working with the exec to create a budget for the society's activities and events, allocating funds appropriately to cover expenses such as event costs, guest speaker fees, marketing materials, etc.

Maintaining accurate financial records of all income and expenditures incurred by the society, such as keeping track of receipts and invoices, and ensuring that all financial documentation is up-to-date.

Managing the society's bank accounts, including making deposits, withdrawals, and transfers as needed. Monitoring account balances to ensure that LCAS remains financially stable.

Processing expense reimbursements and reviewing and approving expense claims to ensure compliance with the budget.

Advising the executive committee on financial matters and how to maximise revenue and minimise expenses. This includes seeking sponsorship and applying for LUU grants.
