Hey I’m Esha!
And I’m excited to present myself as a candidate for the position of Events Coordinator.

I understand the importance of effective communication and strong organisation to ensure events run seamlessly. I have plenty of experience directing and organising events; one example of which is my heading my prom committee- which required arranging the hall, food and entertainment all within a tight timeframe, alongside overseeing the event and committee to ensure everything ran smoothly. This allowed me to acquire a keen attention to detail and meticulous coordination skills that I feel would be invaluable in the Leeds Dental Aesthetics society.

As events coordinator I will do my best to collaborate with the rest of the committee to ensure that events align with the needs and interests of the dental school as well as exploring extracurricular opportunities that the school doesn’t yet have to offer.

Additionally, I understand the significance of promoting said events and will liaise with my peers to relay accurate and up-to-date information about our events to guarantee that the attendees are well-informed about upcoming talks and workshops to enable them to participate fully in these valuable opportunities. I gained a lot of experience doing so as year rep too.

I’m also pretty well versed in creating registration forms :)

I’d love to be considered for this role and will do my best to coordinate events that live up to the standards of last years committee
