I am Cara and I would be honoured to be your Careers Secretary! Passionate and motivated by the law, I am an aspiring commercial solicitor and seek to help those also interested in a legal career. A career in Law can be daunting, especially if you are only just beginning your legal journey. Exposure to the profession is a competitive process, therefore, I intend to widen the accessibility by hosting a variety of career-focused events. I believe my extensive legal and non-legal career exposure, subsequent contacts and dedication, place me in a position to successfully fulfil the role of your Careers Secretary. I am keen to host an array of informative events and provide supportive advice during your application process and general career progression. As a highly motivated and enthusiastic law student here at the University of Leeds, I am excited to run for the position of Careers Secretary with the Law Society. With my proven track record of leadership, teamwork, and excellent communication skills, I am confident that I possess the necessary qualities to excel in this role.

I understand just how vital conferences and workshops are for students, and I am committed to prioritizing them accordingly. My passion for helping my fellow law students achieve their career aspirations is unwavering, and I believe that my skills and experience make me an ideal candidate for the position of Careers Secretary. I have a naturally sociable personality and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. My friendly and approachable demeanor often allows me to connect with others easily and build meaningful relationships.

Throughout my previous experiences, whether it be through part-time jobs or club memberships, I have honed a substantial set of skills that I believe will be valuable in running the careers section of the law society. My ability to work collaboratively with others, communicate effectively, and exercise leadership when necessary, will enable me to create informative and engaging events that will benefit students.

My name is Prince Singh Tanwar and I have completed GCSE equivalent exam, A level equivalent exam, and Bachelor of Science (maths) degree in India. I am currently a student of Bachelor of Laws Year1 at the prestigious University of Leeds. My goal in life is to become as strong as my dad and as calm as my mom.
