Position involves:

● Advertise the senior and junior debating competitions.

● Hold a mock debate to show people how to debate and encourage signing up to the competition, and organise the Academic Showcase.

● Decide on the structure and style of debate you wish to run.

● Set motions to be debated.

● Book rooms with office staff.

● Organise students into groups for each round of the competition.

● Organise judges both internally and externally.

● Provide constructive feedback to competitors.

● Organise refreshments for finals.

● Judge the competition.

● Liaise with the sponsoring law firm
