Hi, this is Ella! And I’m running to be Treasurer of the University Fencing Club. I’ve been fencing for over ten years, mainly foil, and I joined the club back in September when I first started uni. Being part of the W1 team has honestly been one of the highlights of my year so far — it’s been fun, supportive, and a great way to feel part of the club (Not mentioning about booking issues with the LUU...). And I will genuinely miss the comittee who are graduating this year.

If I become treasurer, I’d bring the skills I use every day in both fencing and uni: being organised, reliable, and good at keeping track of details. I’m used to planning ahead, managing my time, and staying consistent — all things that matter when looking after the club’s finances! Leon has done a great job this year, and I’d look up to the standard he’s set while putting in my best effort to work well with the rest of the committee and the whole club. I want to help keep everything running smoothly so everyone can focus on enjoying fencing and getting the most out of the club.
