Hi! I'm really excited by the opportunity to be welfare secretary next year. I think I'm a good choice for the role as I'm kind and a good listener, and always value the opportunity to help people where I can. I've always been good at listening to multiple perspectives and putting forward ideas and solutions, and I'd work well with the broader committee to put those ideas into practice.
I'll also always make myself available to talk, whether that's about personal or course/uni-based issues, or to discuss ideas for the society. This includes planning unique sober socials, which I'm eager to host lots of next year!
