I’m running for the role of secretary as I believe I would be well suited to the organised and methodical nature of the role. I like to keep track of things and plan ahead especially if it means I can procrastinate doing my uni work!

I was the captain of my rowing team which required me to stay on top of some of the finances and events in the club, organising fundraisers and designing the team kit which also involved collecting the orders and chasing up those that hadn’t paid. This I feel has set me up well for the role of secretary.

I would also love to get more people involved in the society as I do think the society is a great way to get to know your course mates, something which is very important and we shouldn’t take for-granted as it is rare to have such a small and interconnected course.
