Hi I’m Nyah, I’m a first year medical student. I have had so much fun being a freshers rep for the MedSoc this year and would love the opportunity to be the Societies Liaison Rep next year. I’ve really enjoyed getting involved with a variety of societies this year including medics netball, the Teddy Bear Charity and Leeds undergraduate anaesthetics society. As societies liaison rep, I will make sure to build relationships with a variety of different societies, to plan joint events which everybody can get involved in and hopefully expand interests outside of medicine.
I believe am well suited for the role as I am organised, enthusiastic and love working in a team and meeting new people. I hope to be able to help build bridges for other Medical Students and would be a friendly committee member. Thank you :)

Hi, I’m Isla I’m running to be your Clubs & Societies Rep!
Societies have been a huge part of my experience so far – they’ve helped me make new friends, connect with people in older years, and most importantly just enjoy being at uni. I want everyone to have those same opportunities. Thank you :)

As current Society Liaison for MedSoc, I have worked to bring more university societies into our events and improve the overall MedSoc social experience. Building these connections has helped make our socials more inclusive, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone. If re-elected, I would love to continue expanding these partnerships, introducing fresh ideas, and helping make MedSoc events even bigger and better.
