Hello gang. To address the obvious, I am currently in Australia, but seemingly no one else is applying, and we need an Open Seat. I am qualified for this position, having been on Committee last year, and having been a part of a frankly embarrassing number of shows over the last two years. I will aim to be as flexible as possible and take on as many jobs that to alleviate stresses on Leeds-based committee members as I can.

Hi! I’m Ally and I am running for Open Seat. I have been a part of Backstage for three years now and have been involved in so many shows over that time. It has absolutely made my university experience and I have loved every minute. I have been involved in nearly every department of our shows (sorry sound xoxo), so I know the society like the back of my hand. My experience of being on the committee last year also gave me the opportunity to learn more about the society and get even more involved. By the end of the year, I felt like I’d really found my footing and I would love to bring everything I’ve learned to the society again this year. I want to help make this wonderful society its best self and I want to make sure members, returning and new, have the best time they can!
