The Vice President works closely with the President and other Committee members to support the successful running of the club. They act as a key point of contact and support, stepping into the President’s duties when required and ensuring continuity in the Club’s leadership and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the President in the overall organisation and management of the Club.
• Chairing Committee Meetings, AGMs, or EGMs in the President’s absence.
• Supporting the creation and distribution of the annual report.
• Helping maintain an up-to-date presence on the Club’s LUU webpage and ensuring that all club documents (e.g., risk assessments, code of conduct) are shared with members.
• Supporting the implementation and communication of the Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy.
• Acting as a secondary point of contact for safeguarding issues and promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
• Supporting the President with fulfilling Equality and Inclusion Officer duties, including:
  • Assisting in reviewing club activities through an equality and inclusion lens.
  • Helping signpost members to LUU support services as needed.
  • Attending relevant training sessions to stay informed on best practices.
• Taking initiative on club development opportunities, including recruitment, events, and collaborations.
• Ensuring smooth handovers and continuity between academic years.
