Hi everyone! I’m Akshaya a 3rd year medical student, and I’m excited to run for Treasurer of the GP Society.

General Practice is at the heart of medicine, and I’m passionate about supporting events and initiatives that inspire more students to explore this vital field. As Treasurer, I would bring a reliable and organised approach to managing the society’s finances.

I’ve developed strong time management and organisational skills through balancing my studies with extracurricular commitments. I’m confident using spreadsheets and keeping track of budgets. My goal would be to make sure every penny is used wisely to benefit members.

I’d work closely with the rest of the committee to plan ahead financially, stay transparent, and make sure GP Society continues to thrive.
