About me:
My name is Rowan Vegad and I am a first year BSc Accounting and Finance student. 3 random things about me are that I’m half English half Indian, I love Formula 1 racing & I’m terrified of spiders.

Why me?
I really enjoy being part of the Dodgeball Society, I’m a regular at Saturday sessions and play in tournaments. I am keen to contribute and ensure the society has a bright future.
As an Accounting and Finance student I am used to problem solving on a regular basis.
I’m always up for trying out new experiences and responsibilities.
I enjoy working with and learning from peers and putting forward ideas, some of which are below.

Aims for 2022/23:
Produce and hold a collection of minutes taken from meetings.
Communicate with the student union to solve issues.
Discuss with the committee and university sports centres to potentially arrange an additional session each week.
Work with other committee members to create a Leeds University Dodgeball kit for those participating in tournaments.

Hi, I'm Maddie as some of you will hopefully know from meeting me at training. I'm hoping to be the secretary in next year's dodgeball committee so we can make dodgesoc even more fun for everyone!
A few of the things I want to do, outside helping the society continue to run smoothly are:
1. Arranging a second training session to give more time to focus on both fun and competitive playing rather than dividing the sessions between them. This way we can make dodgeball more inclusive!
2. Getting team kit! So we can turn up to tournaments (or friendly matches) looking super cool.
3. Setting up friendly matches with other teams. This will allow us to get better and have more fun as we get to play different people.
